DAV College Trust Management Society, under the aegis of DAV CMC that had taken as challenge, the dreams of TATA STEEL in 1988 to open this school at the cost of DAV’S excellence experience in education, Culture and devotion. All stones were turned to translate the dream. The overall performance and popularity of the school has pulled students from its neighboring area touching a milestone of more than 2500 students strength, while the initial strength in 1988 was 350 students , 10 teaching and 05 non-teaching staffs. Very soon school carved its niche in academic field in coal belt with achievement in academics, sports and cultural activities providing itself as a centre of excellence and the value of DAV Culture , the school has earned appreciable patronization of TATA Steel executives’ parents and entire locality. The school grew up to Secondary level in 1995 and Senior Secondary level in 1998 offering two streams Science and Commerce in +2 levels, in its Endeavour to scale new height of excellence. Right from the beginning the school has been producing students competent to various respectable and professional courses like medical, engineering and management. The school has 5 acres of land covering 55 rooms , 06 laboratories , well equipped computerized library containing about 7000 books and 14 periodicals. Presently this school is grooming more than 2500 students with Vedic values for a better future with the help of 51 dedicated , devoted and qualified faculties.
Since 1988 the school has been giving best results in CBSE Board Examinations, a number of students have qualified for entrance test of IIT, AIPMT, AIEEE, NDA,CA, Management and professional courses.
Individual attention is priority of this school and every possible step is being taken to crack every hard nut that comes in to our way.
